04/29/2010: The Ruddy Plains

A more abstract, subtle sound dominates this week’s show. It played out nicely as the evening wore on, and we were all pleased with the result. There are new releases from Manual, Lorn, and the legendary duo Autechre. Isan remixes Clouds, and the Black Dog provides a trip through an airport dystopia. There is a glimpse of a new Kompakt mix-CD, courtesy of Ewan Pearson, and Prins Thomas provides a startling, epic remix of Jaga Jazzist. May it find a home in your ears.
