This week, we present the sixth edition in our annual “Slowly
” series. This installment is dedicated to waltzing black holes. The mix is similar in theme to our past
mixes. It is a collage of hushed, sometimes drowsy sounds. For this reason, the duration of the show will be uninterrupted by voice. For a satisfactory listening experience we recommend finding a comfortable pair of headphones or a nice stereo, and a quiet place.
Waltzing through the Cosmos
This week we present some extraordinary material for open ears. Hour one features music from CMX (featuring dBridge), Ras G (returning with a new album on Brainfeeder), new singles from Laurel Halo and The Black Dog, and the latest sounds from Rone. Gacha gives away some melodic beats in hour two, Forest Swords drops his debut album, Ken Camden showcases some spacey synths for Kranky, Robag Wruhme remixes Vondelpark, and Moskitoo returns with some glorious minimalism for 12k. Why not give it a listen?
This week we are joined by Wagga Man, who provides the first hour of music, and features new sounds from Shortcircles, Beautiful Bells, a Ghostly International trio of artists in Beacon, Gold Panda, and Shigeto, and the melodic beats of Jesper Ryom. The second half of the show includes the latest from Juan Atkins and Moritz Von Oswald, a beautiful new composition from bvdub, music from Huerco S’ debut on Software Records, and new beats from Devonwho. Thanks for listening!
