Last week produced a darker, moodier set. The first hour debuted new music from Pan American, Mother Mother, Gelka, Jonas Reinhardt and Animal Collective. The second half was full of dub and featured standouts from Pinch, Dub Police records, and Zomby. There was more new music from the likes of Harmonic 313, Two Fingers, and Yagya. Modesty escapes us this week, as we declare this episode a favorite. Hip-hop, dub, and microhouse are featured in the first half. Kenny’s set features new tracks from Pluxus, Crystal Castles, and the Faint. Hour two showcases new dubstep singles from Hyperdub and 2562, while Michael reveals fresh tracks from Gui Boratto, the Juan Maclean, and Odd Nosdam. Best when played loud.
