10/16/2010: An Explanation of Sound

This week’s collage features some stellar fall releases. In the first hour you’ll hear some wonky beats, new House singles from Kyle Hall and Lee Foss, and some dub from Ed Solo and Eskmo. In hour two there are some massive remixes: Walls reinvents a track from Vladislav Delay, Instra:mental has a gorgeous interpretation of a Commix song, and The Black Dog lend their atmospherics to Anodyne’s “Corrosion.” DJ Shadow drops a new single, while Blonde Redhead and Deerhunter release excellent new full lengths for 4AD.  Play it loud.
