11/12/2011: Emergency Measures

Austerity blues? Well, the global economy may be teetering, but the music world remains flush with top new releases. Michael blueprints the first half of the show with new tracks from Dimlite, Sepalcure,  and a host of remixes, including Tycho reworking Little Dragon’s latest single “Little Man,” and Midland crafting a beautiful re-imaging of Sei A’s “Frozen Flower.” The second half comes courtesy of Kenny, who drops some futuristic sounds from Kuedo’s “Severant” full-length, and explores Dusty Kid’s harmonica laced beats. Later, he features an excellent new single by Trevino for Martyn’s 3024 label, and the slow, hazy sounds of M83. Must listen stuff.
