This week we feature some very notable new releases from the young year, and squeeze in a few classics to keep the memory sharp. In part one we drop newly released music from Grouper, the latest, reliable wonders from veteran trio Yo La Tengo, L.A. producer Tokimonsta teaming up with Kool Keith, a fresh single from Marcel Dettman, and dusted off tracks from Drexciya and Galaxy 2 Galaxy. Part two kicks off with a fresh single from Shed’s Wax series, the complex and moving beats of Barker and Baumecker, a collaborative effort from Sending Orb acts Kettel and Secede, an older cut from the Tumblr predicting(?) Photodementia, a song from Kelpe’s recent release “Bags of Time,” and another fantastic track from ASC’s album “Out of Sync.” Take a two hour view into the world of Future Music.
