The Beat Oracle

This week we joined WCRS in celebration of International Women’s Day and devoted an entire episode to some of our favorite ladies of future music. Over the course of two hours we dropped a diverse range of sounds from some top producers. In hour one, newer music from Bjork, a track from Nina Kraviz’s debut LP, more visionary pop from Grimes, and some older highlights from Dinky, and Ellen Allien. Hour two continues to trot the globe with new music from Leila, Pursuit Grooves, a killer beat from Nite Jewel’s latest album, and the triumphant return of Tujiko Noriko and her own special world of sound.
