We woke ourselves up laughing, our heads spinning to future music. Somewhere near the beginning was new music from Ninja Tune vets Funki Porcini, and at long last, DJ Food. New singles from Sei A and Julio Bashmore kept our heads above water, while Yppah played “D.Song.” The praised sounds of John Maus were ringing in our ears, and Ernest Gonzales shook a finger, informing us that synchronicity prevails. Monolake led us through polygon_cities, and near the end of the road, we flung on the turn signal and moved to Rhythm & Sound, Kaito in the driver seat. Press play to hear what happened.

It’s a brand new week of beats, complete with the usual mix of high quality futuristic sounds. New gems from the likes of Starfawn, Surkin, and Cant kick off a steady first-half, with Smallville Records acts Moomin and Smallpeople closing out the hour with some minimal, melodic house.
