12/03/2009: The Cognition Tape Vol. 1

The year is winding down, and there are only two episodes remaining before our “2009 In Review” special. Last week we handed over the reigns to our friend Ruckus Roboticus, but we were busy preparing the latest dose of future music. The first hour starts with some new grooves from Dam Funk, Jimi Tenor, The Gift of Gab, LD, and Blue Sky Black Death remixing CunninLynguists. The second half features new 12’’ singles from Sigur Ros and Modeselektor, a new track from ambient bigwig Loscil, as well as anticipated cuts from Burial and RJD2. Happy listening.
