Here is a Saturday transmission to the board, shareholders, new release merchants, and valued listeners.  Despite the Tough Economic Climate (© 2008), there is reason to stumble out of bed and perk up one’s ears. For example: A new single from Toro Y Moi, Stereolab’s Laetitia Sadier’s debut solo album, the return of Seefeel, a weird new trip from Flying Lotus, and twenty years of Ninja Tune! If that doesn’t inspire eternal, unending profit growth there is always the debut full-length from Teebs to feel rich about, or the great run of releases from Planet Mu (Optimum, Solar Bears), or the return of the legendary group Underworld! The market may not sort you out, but the music will give you an honest chance.
