06/04/2011: Singularity

Our trusty computer sidekick Arnold hosts this week’s show, and unleashes some major 2011 releases for your listening pleasure. The first hour is packed with fresh baked beats from DJ Shadow, Prefuse 73, and the first single from Zomby’s forthcoming album “Dedication.” There’s another gem from Tokimonsta’s latest EP, and a highlight from BNJMN’s debut for Rush Hour Recordings. The second hour features Kahn cutting up Sabira Jade’s vocals for his wonderful “Like We Used To” single, Mux Mool remixing Eliot Lipp, the melodic, complex stylings of Salva, and another amazing single from Modeselektor’s Fifty Weapons label, courtesy of Phon.O. Must hear!

  1. Arnold, you pronounce things just fine. You don’t belong in the closet next to the Super Nintendo. Maybe one day we can work together on some dirty dubstep or something, k? Tell the guys to watch out for any more bananas… they’re slippery!

  2. This show would have been fantastic if Arnold cut it out with the absurd robot voice. It’s the last thing you want interrupting your music listening experience.
